The Challenge

A Director of DEI Employee Initiatives at a premium spirits company wanted to find a way to include ERG leaders in the hiring process for senior roles, but they didn’t have a road map to get started. 

How the DEI Board Helped

The leader turned to the DEI Board community to gain more insight. They posted their challenge in our online member forum that allows all DEI Board Members to view and respond.

Within just a few days, the Board Member had practical insights from multiple DEI leaders, including different processes, strategies, and outcomes. One member even shared their specific steps for how they prep ERG leaders for these interviews. 

The Result

The Director of DEI Employee Initiatives was able to make a case at their organization for why ERG leaders should be included in the hiring process.
