2022 was an incredible kickoff for the Data Privacy Board, and we’re grateful for all of your contributions as this community continues to grow.

Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished together so far:

  • 70 data privacy leaders at these 26 billion-dollar companies: AES, Ally, American Family Insurance, Canada Post, Carnival, Edward Jones, Expedia Group, FedEx, Fluor, Herbalife Nutrition, Intel, JetBlue, Loblaw, M&T Bank, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Merck, New Balance Athletics, Northwestern Mutual, Principal Financial Group, Subway, Toyota Motor North America, Trimble, USAA, Valmont Industries, Voya Financial, and Workday.
  • 15 Community Calls — facilitated video call discussions on key issues like taking on AI accountability, benchmarking your program structure, addressing employee privacy concerns, data mapping, and more.
  • 25 Fast Feedback questions and responses on topics you can’t talk about anywhere else, including cookie opt-ins, BtoB approaches to CPRA, upcoming privacy regulations, vendor and tool recommendations, and more.
  • 12 direct member connections where we introduced individual members to the exact leader with the knowledge and experience to help them solve a problem or overcome a challenge.

We’re looking forward to continuing to build a community where you feel less alone in your role. On behalf of the entire team at the Data Privacy Board, thank you for being an integral part of the community. Here’s to all the great things ahead of us in 2023 — including our first-ever Board Meeting!
