Walmart announced they’ve invested in a vertical farming startup called Plenty. Senior Vice President of Sustainability Jane Ewing said this about Walmart’s recent focus on ESG and their Built for Better program: “With Built for Better, we’ve created a framework that can grow over time. As the needs of our communities and customers continue to change, we’ll change right alongside them.”
