Brands-Only Call on COVID-19: Managing Employee Hardship Support in a Crisis

No Vendors. Confidential. Senior Leaders Only.

About the call:

COVID-19: Managing employee hardship support in a crisis

As our employee assistance efforts face unprecedented pressure from the novel coronavirus outbreak, CSR leaders at the world’s biggest brands are making tough decisions about how to responsibly provide the most help possible.

Due to overwhelming response to our call on March 26th, we are coming together for two smaller, more intimate calls where we can dive into details like:

  • Policy and structural changes for employee relief funds: Updating matrices, qualifying events, when relief kicks in, eligibility, and levels of support.
  • Whether we’re communicating to employees about this option, or if we’re holding off to avoid a rush on limited funds.
  • Our plans for raising new funds, whether from associates, executives, or corporate resources.
  • How we’re helping our employees right now, even if we don’t have a relief fund.

This is an opportunity to talk confidentially with your peers about the challenges you’re facing and to ask your questions. From your desk or from home, the CSR Board is here to connect you to the people like you, facing the same challenges — we’ll figure them out together.

Who’s going to be on the line?

Everyone on the call will be leading corporate social responsibility at a big company. This is a conversation for people like you, with jobs like yours, at companies like yours — and problems like yours.

No vendors, sponsors, press, small businesses, or junior/front-line staff allowed.

Attendees will be from member companies and invited guests from similarly-sized companies.

What are we going to discuss?

You’ll get candid, honest insights from experienced peers. Bring a list of the things you’re working on right now. We’d love to help.

Who is the presenter on the calls?

Nobody! Everyone contributes. It’s a discussion, not a webinar. You’ll have a deep conversation with people who have jobs like yours at companies like yours.

Why is there no fee and who is funding this?

The CSR Board is a community for people leading corporate social responsibility at the world’s biggest companies. We have members-only meetings a few times a year. Because our meetings are confidential, we host smaller meetings for guests to see what we do. In total transparency, we think you’re going to love it and will want to join the community.
